Harvested naturally in the Sea of Okhotsk, they are renowned for their amazing texture and taste that’s unlike any other fish or crustacean.
Widely considered as one of the healthiest seafood, scallops are a great source of protein and have low-fat content. You can eat most of the scallop in the shell if you remove the digestive tract called “uro.”
Not only can you enjoy them in Japanese cuisine like sashimi, sushi, and grilled scallops with shells, but also in other recipes such as butter sauté, meunière, gratin, and fry.

Leave them in their shells, place them in a single layer on a plate or tray, cover tightly with plastic wrap and store in the coldest part of the fridge.
